Mundo Ejecutivo, one of the business publications with the longest history in Mexico, dedicated its 570th edition to the 25 CFOs whose financial management marked measurable results during 2025.

Peter D. Spradling, CEO and co-founder of Marco, appears in 17th place on the list — alongside the CFOs of Cemex and Henkel — for the financial strategy behind the company's transformation.

The publication recognizes the 213% growth that Marco recorded between 2024 and 2025, after separating the Banking and Trade Services lines from the lending business. A decision that responds to the thesis that Marco has held since day one: first organize the operation, then enable growth.

The recognition comes at a time when the role of the financial area has changed in companies operating between Mexico and the United States. It is no longer just about closing the month: it is about deciding in which currency the money remains, how the margin is defended against the exchange rate, and whether the company can sustain a large order when the buyer pays in 60 days.
