Reforma — Capitanes Column
After selling its factoring portfolio, Marco strengthens its financial platform

Capitanes, the benchmark business column in Mexico published by Grupo Reforma in its three newspapers —Reforma (CDMX), El Norte (Monterrey), and Mural (Guadalajara)—, highlighted the strategic evolution of Marco following the sale of its factoring portfolio valued at 31 million dollars.
The column captured the company's new focus: concentrating all its resources on its financial and administrative platform for exporters and importers in Mexico and Latin America operating in the United States — with a global multi-currency account, cross-border payments and collections, revolving credit, LLC formation, and US tax compliance, all in one place.
The context could not be better: in April 2026, Mexican exports reached a record of 72,041.8 million dollars, with an annual growth of 32.6% (INEGI). Marco, which grew 213% in Banking and Trade Services between 2024 and 2025, is building the infrastructure for businesses to operate at the speed of that trade.
“Marco created a comprehensive platform that centralizes all the tools companies need to operate with greater efficiency, certainty, and confidence in the U.S. market.” — Capitanes, Reforma, July 16, 2026
