Peter Spradling
Co-Founder and CEO
Peter Spradling is Co-Founder and CEO of Marco, a Miami-based cross-border trade fintech serving small and mid-sized importers and exporters along the Mexico–U.S. corridor. Marco provides the financial infrastructure international trade demands and that traditional banks rarely extend to a small company: multi-currency global accounts with built-in FX, working capital, and automated accounting and compliance.
An entrepreneur with more than a decade in international trade, Peter founded his first company at 16, exporting merino wool products from Uruguay to the United States. In 2016 he founded an import business in Miami and won contracts with brands including Newman’s Own, Kraft Heinz, and General Mills. That firsthand experience with the financing barriers small companies face in cross-border trade became the thesis behind Marco.
Peter holds a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University and an M.A. in International Relations and International Development from American University. In 2026 he was named by Mundo Ejecutivo to its “Top 25 CFOs” for the financial strategy behind Marco’s growth. He lives in Key Biscayne with his wife and daughters.
