Marco closes $12 million Series A led by IDC Ventures, with IDB Lab among the investors
Marco closed an oversubscribed $12 million Series A round, led by IDC Ventures with participation from IDB Lab, Arcadia Funds, Kayyak Ventures, Florida Funders, and Miami Angels, among others. Part of the capital was allocated to its global dollar accounts product.

In March 2024, Marco closed its Series A for 12 million dollars, oversubscribed by 2 million, led by IDC Ventures, the venture capital arm of IDC Network, and with the participation of IDB Lab (Inter-American Development Bank Group), Arcadia Funds, Kayyak Ventures, Florida Funders, Miami Angels, Barn Invest, Neer Ventures, and SquareOne Capital.
Part of the capital went toward building the global dollar accounts product, Marco's first step from financier to comprehensive financial platform for companies operating between Latin America and the United States.
Peter Spradling explained to Global Trade Review that nearshoring was a core reason for why now and why Latin America. The round was also covered by Crowdfund Insider and by the official press release distributed via Yahoo Finance.
“The nearshoring trendline was a big reason as to why now, and why Latin America.”
